Elroy here!!  I'm an adorable special needs boy and I can't wait to have a new forever home!  Not much is known about my life before I came to my foster home, and since I can't talk I can't share my story.  I am blind in one eye, but it doesn't slow me down at all and if I didn't tell you, you would never know. My foster Mum thinks that I might have a little difficulty hearing.   I'm a little pigeon-toed, but my Foster Mum says it adds to my adorable factor.  I take anti-seizure medication daily, it controls my seizures and it's not very expensive.  Most of my seizures are no big deal, but they can occasionally be worse if I'm stressed.  Even though I'm not exactly like all the other dogs, the wonderful things about me will shine through.... I know you'll love me if you give me a chance.  I have basic manners.  I am a very quiet and well behaved boy when I'm in the house and just want to curl up on my bed for a little nap.  It takes me a little while to settle in and make myself at home, but once I do I'll be your best bud!!  I am house trained, but sometimes I get too busy and forget to go when I'm outside so someone that is home a lot so I have lots of opportunity to go out is best for me.  Check out the video of me playing with my foster brother - we have a BLAST!!!  I have been known to eat poop, so my new family needs to know this and must pick up after me immediately. I'm not like  other dogs, so my new family must be willing to accommodate all of my specialness. Please Note: Applications are considered on an individual basis, and fencing is preferable.  All adoptive homes must be within a reasonable distance from a DRAW volunteer for home visits and follow up care.  A home visit, reference check and vet check must be completed prior to adoption.
